Lamar Cross Country District meet held at Jeremy’s Creek

Lamar Democrat/Chris Morrow Lamar freshman Kiersten Potter has been tearing up cross country courses all fall. Saturday she claimed a Class 3 District 6 championship with a time of 19:27.90. She took first out of a field of 55 runners and as a team the Lady Tigers finished fourth.

The SW Select basketball team ended their season by winning the Kansas State Championship with a record of 21-1 in three tournaments, plus Kansas State.
