Council receives donation from Fair Committee

Lamar Democrat/Chris Morrow Prior to the Lamar City Council's monthly meeting Monday, Edwin Moore (center) and Terry Moore (right) of the Lamar Fair Committee presented Lamar Mayor Kent Harris with a check for $6,000 to help cover the additional costs incurred by the city during the week of the fair. In addition to that donation, they also donated $500 to the police department for the Shop with a Cop Program.
