GREENFIELD- Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield for Ronald E. Sherron, 73, Greenfield, who died Thursday, Nov. 28, 2019, at his home.

Arrangements are under the direction of Greenfield Funeral Chapel.

Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Pam Sherron, of the home; his son, Howard Sherron and wife Monika, Clarksville, Tenn.; his daughter, Gail Kinder and husband David, Strafford; one brother, Jerry Sherron and wife Linda, Golden City; three grandchildren, Jacob Kinder and wife Emma, Jason Sherron and Jared Kinder; one great-grandchild, Loreali Kinder; one uncle, Bob Gariss and wife Fontella, Milford and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Isabelle Sherron and one brother, Donnie Sherron.

Mr. Sherron was born Oct. 26, 1946, in Lamar, to Donald and Isabelle (Gariss) Sherron. He graduated from Golden City High School. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He was an over the road truck driver most of his life. He was a member of the Greenfield First Christian Church and the Greenfield American Legion Post No. 47.

He married Pam L. Stokes on Oct. 1, 1973, in Springfield.
