LOCKWOOD-Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Lockwood Christian Church for Enoch Coose, Jr., 82, Lockwood, who died Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2015, at his home. Burial will follow in the Lockwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be held prior to the service time, beginning at 10 a.m.

Arrangements are under the direction of Lockwood Funeral Chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Marlene Coose, of the home; two children, Michael of Lockwood and Leasa of Springfield; a sister, Fern Stoll, Lockwood; two brothers, Jack Coose and wife Becky and Jerry Coose and wife Loraine, all of Lockwood and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Hubert Coose.

Mr. Coose was born Aug. 13, 1933, in Thayer, to Enoch W. and Rosa E. (Fraley) Coose. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a lifetime farmer and was a member of the Maple Grove Church of Jesus Christ, where he served as an Elder.

He married Marlene L. Scotvold on Nov. 8, 1958.
