LAMAR-Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 52 SE 40th Lane, Lamar, for William Wayne Wyrick Jr., 61, Lamar, who died Monday, Aug. 31, 2015, at his home, surrounded by the loving support of family and friends.

Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Midland Cremation Society, Joplin.

Survivors include his wife, Sarah Wyrick, of the home; a son, Corrie W. Wyrick and wife Lisa, Texas; a daughter, Lenina Sissy Wyrick, Nevada, Mo.; his mother, Joan Wyrick, Reed Springs; a brother, Mike Wyrick and wife Levina, El Dorado Springs; two sisters, Jamie Taylor and husband DeWayne, Kirbeyville and Debbie Cheek and husband Tom, El Dorado Springs and 13 grandchildren, Timmy, Nicky, Lacie, Stephanie, Brandon, Darin, Jessica, Bysen, Jazzy, Austin, Erick, Gavin and Shawn, as well as numerous aunts uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Wyrick Sr., of Reeds Spring, in 2009 and his grandma and grandpa, Irene and Bill Wyrick, of Kansas City, Kan.

Mr. Wyrick was born May 5, 1954, in Kansas City, Kan., to Wayne and Joan Wyrick. Also known by many as Butch, Junior and Willie, he graduated high school in El Dorado Springs in 1972. He was employed at numerous occupations including Cessamo in El Dorado Springs, Peerless in Ft. Scott, Kan., and Sperzels in Nevada, as well as the state hospital there.

He married Sarah June Carpenter on Nov. 15, 1976, in Walker. In 1981 he moved to Bentonville, Ark., where he worked for the City of Bentonville. He then moved to Mississippi, where he worked for BFI, as well as Deep-South Trucking out of Purvis. He moved back to Missouri in 1994, where he worked for BFI/Allied Waste/Republic Landfill in Lamar.

He dedicated his life to Jehovah God in 2015, where he remained active until his death.
