FREDRICK SELLARS

PARSONS, Kan.- A Native American Indian burial at the Santee Sioux Nation Reservation will be held for Fredrick “Freddie” Ryan Sellars, 28, Parsons, who died Saturday, March 28, 2020, as a result of an automobile accident.

Arrangements are under the direction of Daniel Funeral Home, Lamar, Mo.

Survivors include a daughter, Abby Rena Sellars; his mother, Cynthia Rena Sellars-Haid, Pittsburg; his father, Lorenzo Hoffman, South Dakota; one brother, Jake Sellars, Parsons; one sister, Jody Hoffman; a grandmother, Rosemary Glidwell; two nieces, Chloee and Sophie Sellars; a nephew, Patrick Sellars and Charley Dalsing, who was like one of his own children.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jim Sellars.

Mr. Sellars was born June 10, 1991, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, to Lorenzo B. Hoffman and Cynthia Rena Sellars. He graduated from Pittsburg High School in the class of 2009 and had worked as a general laborer, most recently working at Sanderson Pipe, Pittsburg. He loved playing football while in high school and was a member of the Santee Sioux Nation.
