DONNA JOANN STEPHENS

GREENFIELD- A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for Donna Joann Stephens, 78, Greenfield, who died Thursday, March 26, 2020, at St. Luke’s Nursing Center in Carthage.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.

Survivors include her children, Gretchen Stolc and husband Steve, Lamar, Butch Taylor, Springfield, Margaret Taylor, Lamar and Matthew Stephens, Carthage; grandchildren, Tiffany George, Kaleb Rook, Gage Stephens, Lexi Stephens, McKenzie Stephens, Jayden Stephens, Ryleigh Stephens, River Stephens, Bobby Raby and Rick Crabtree; great-grandchildren, Gunner George, Gabby George, Rory Rook and Kainon Raby and several nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Leroy Nelson, Norman Boger and Ralph Boger.

Mrs. Stephens was born Sept. 21, 1941, in San Bernardino, Calif., to Donald O. and Florence Lucille (Berry) Boger. She lived in the Greenfield area for most of her life and recently moved to the Lamar area to be close to family.

She worked at a variety of jobs during her life, but her passion was for the outdoors. She loved to camp, boat and just relax by the lake. She also enjoyed planting flowers, gardening, sewing and was particularly talented at cooking and baking. She will be missed by everyone that knew and loved her.
