Cain on March 10, 1959, in Newport, Mo. They then made their home in Kansas City, Kan. In 1996 she moved to Gardner to be near her family.
She was a homemaker and treasured being with her family more than anything. She loved to feed everyone and would ask you if you had eaten when you walked in her door. She liked being outdoors, working with her flowers or playing with her dog in the backyard. She enjoyed making homemade ice cream, playing cards, shopping and quilting. Her passion was going to the “boat”. If you couldn’t find her on a Wednesday, the boat was where she could be found. Her kids lovingly called Wednesday “Boat Day”.
