MARY LOUISE THOMAS

LAMAR- A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Bethlehem Cemetery in Dade County for Mary Louise Thomas, 80, Lamar, who died Monday, April 6, 2020, at St. Luke’s Nursing Home in Carthage.
Arrangements are under the direction of Konantz Warden Funeral Home.
Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to Bethlehem Cemetery.

Survivors include a sister, Virginia Wilson and husband Tom, Newburgh, NY; a brother, Roy Thomas and wife Pat, Carthage; a sister, Joyce Davidson and husband John, Wichita, Kan. and a sister, Jean Scott and husband Rusty, Springfield; 15 nieces and nephews; 29 great-nieces and nephews and seven great-great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Noel Junior and Otis Ray.
Ms. Thomas was born April 4, 1940, in Lamar, to Noel Otis and Mabel Lucille (Winningham) Thomas. She was the third child of seven children. She worked 45 years as a nurse’s aide at Barton County Memorial Hospital.
She loved to help others, cook and spend time with all of her nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all.
