LAMAR- A memorial service will be announced at a later date for James Reginald Wingert, 71, Lamar, who died Friday, April 24, 2020, at Mercy Hospital in Joplin.
Arrangements are under the direction of Daniel Funeral Home.

Survivors include two sons, Kelly Wingert and wife Kristull, Nevada and Lynn Seibert and wife Juliane; one daughter, Jamie Brown and husband Heath, Walker; seven brothers, Dennis, Edward, Thomas, Robert, John, Eugene and Charles Wingert; four sisters, Mary Conway, Ruth Rice, Charlotte Scott and Rita; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Mr. Wingert was born March 13, 1949, in Albert Lee, Minn., to Reginald C. and Kathryn Jane (Hassing) Wingert. He was a graduate of Golden City High School and served his country in the United States Army.
He was a truck driver for many years and had worked at Lamar Ford as a tractor mechanic. He enjoyed tinkering with tractors, as well as draft horse pulls.
He married Joyce Ann Seibert in Miami, Okla. She preceded him in death.
