Wheeler Park bridge receives a good cleaning

Photos complements of Melissa Morey Over the years, the Compton and Morey families have spent much time enjoying a stroll on the Wheeler Park trail. A crew consisting of the family’s kids decided that the bridge that is located on the trail needed a good cleaning, so that is just what they decided to do. The bridge was covered with moss, mildew and dirt that had accumulated since the construction of the bridge. Thanks to a lot of elbow grease and hard work, the bridge has been returned to its original color of sparkling white. An extremely enjoyable time was held by those helping with the bridge, as well as the joy they received in giving back to their community.
