Davis and Gardner elected to represent LHS at Missouri Girls State

Photo by These Moments by L Photography Lamar juniors Kaitlyn Davis and Jillian Gardner (pictured left to right) were selected to attend Missouri Girls State, which is sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary. Selection of delegates for this prestigious program is based on “leadership abilities, interest in government, service to others and academics.” The 2020 session was scheduled for June 21-27, at the University of Central Missouri, but was recently cancelled due to concerns with the COVID-19 pandemic.
