FLORENCE SCHRECKENGHAUST
BELTON- Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Southview Christian Church, 13604 Norby Road, Grandview, for Florence A. Schreckenghaust, 86, Belton, who died Saturday, June 6, 2020, at her home surrounded by family.
Visitation will be held prior to the service, beginning at 9 a.m.
Arrangements are under the direction of Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home in Kansas City, Mo.

Survivors include her loving husband of 67 years, Harold; three children, Kathy Maloney and husband John, Darrel Schreckenghaust and wife Becki and Janet Masters and husband Rick; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Viola Andrews and Patsy Andrews and two brothers, Don Yardley and Bill Yardley.
Mrs. Schreckenghaust was born September 21, 1933, in Golden City, to Ora and Alfrieda (Newholm) Yardley. She and her husband made their home in Grandview, where she was a stay-at-home mom until her children were grown, then she went to work for Hallmark for the next 14 years. She and her husband left Grandview after 33 years and built their dream home in Belton.
Mrs. Schreckenghaust was also a cancer survivor.
