ELLSINORE- A memorial service with military honors will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Daniel Funeral Home in Lamar, for Richard Lynn Louderback, 75, who died May 30, 2020, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Contributions are suggested and made payable to VFW Post No. 3691 or Peterson Outdoors Ministries, in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include a daughter, Christi Dawn Tomlinson and husband Jeff, Sherman, Texas; two sons, Kelly Louderback and wife Cindi, Lamar and Kevin Louderback, Mt. Vernon; six grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; one brother, Jim Louderback, Prescott, Ariz.; two sisters, Donna Johnston, Lamar and Beverly DeBusk and husband Dave, Las Vegas, Nevada; Maxine Louderback, Lamar and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by a significant other and friend for over 20 years, Jill Shelton; three brothers, Wayne, Robert and Murel Louderback Jr. and four sisters, Dorothy Louderback, Mildred Work, Bonnie McCune and Shirley White.

Mr. Louderback was born August 15, 1944, in Iola, Kan., to Murel and Edna Avis (Johnson) Louderback. He had resided in Ellsinore for the past 20+ years. He was of the Baptist faith. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and had the gift of gab and never met a stranger. He was a very talented carpenter that could design and build anything you wanted. He was a very thoughtful and loving man, providing for his family and anyone that needed his help. No matter how hard he worked, he always made sure there was time for a cold beer!
