JOHN NOYES

LIBERAL- A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, at Daniel Funeral Home in Lamar, with full military honors being conducted for John Allen Noyes, 81, Liberal, who died Sunday, July 5, 2020, at his home.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Contributions are suggested and made payable to D.O.G.S. Foundation, in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife of nearly 56 years, Carolyn; one son, Allen Noyes and wife Penny, Maumelle, Ark.; two daughters, Angela Delph and husband Todd, Webb City and Alison Rogers and husband Dan, Webb City; one brother, Tom Noyes and wife Lynn, Lathrop; one sister, Sue Martin, Kansas City, Mo. and four grandchildren, Peyton Rogers, Maggie Noyes, Tanner Rogers and Parker Noyes.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Jim Noyes.
Mr. Noyes was born January 5, 1939 in Liberal, to James Ray Noyes and Eula Maude (Millard) Noyes. He graduated from Liberal High School in the class of 1957. He served his country in the United States Army. On September 18, 1964, he married Carolyn Sue Cowardin at Lamar First Christian Church and together they raised three children. He was a hard working farmer who farmed in Liberal his entire life. He enjoyed running the grader for Double S Dirtworks, Inc., as well as building terraces and grading roads for the county. He loved to attend all of his grandkids sports and school activities. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed watching college basketball games, as well as bowling on a men's league and mixed doubles. He was saved in 1985 and he and his family attended Christ's Church of Oronogo.
