JASPER- Services will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday at Daniel Funeral Home in Lamar for Robert Wayne Leaming, 63, Jasper, who died Friday, Sept. 4, 2020, at Cox South Hospital in Springfield. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Contributions are suggested and made payable to the Brotherhood of Bikers, in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife Kathy; two daughters, Heather Miller and husband Chris, Alba and Lindsey Hoke and husband Travis, Joplin; two sons, John Johnson and wife Tynee and three children of Branson and Danny Johnson and two children of Joplin; his mother, Catherine Leaming, Jasper; one brother, Dale Leaming, Jasper and one grandson, Nathaniel “Monster” Miller, Alba.
He was preceded in death by his father, Don Leaming and his grandparents.
Mr. Leaming was born April 18, 1957, in Webb City, to Leo Don and Catherine Jane (Anderson) Leaming. He married Kathy Suzette Bailey on Feb. 11, 2017, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
He worked as a truck driver for H.E. Williams, was a member of the Brotherhood of Bikers and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jasper. He was an exceptional football player, earning all-conference and all-state defensive end accolades. He was a doting husband, super hero of a Dad and the best Papaw a kid could ask for.
