SUSAN KELSEY

LAMAR- Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Konantz Warden Funeral Home for Susan Lynn Kelsey, 68, Lamar, who died Sunday, Sept. 27, 2020. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, at the Lamar United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Iantha Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, John; a son, Brian Johnson, Lamar; daughters, Tessy Beck and husband Donny, Liberty and Tisha Anderson and husband Willie, Bella Vista, Ark.; her grandchildren, Chayton Beck, Jake Beck, Lukas Kelsey and Shelby Anderson; three sisters, Nancy Robertson, Martha Gardner and husband Kent and Sara Morey and husband Randy; many nieces and nephews and other loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her in-laws, Bud and Donna Belle Kelsey and her brother-in-law, Stanley Robertson.

Mrs. Kelsey was born Oct. 20, 1951, in Lamar, to Douglas and Sadie (Dermott) Johnston. She was a 1969 graduate of Lamar High School. She married John Kelsey in 1984.

She was a loving granna who enjoyed spending time with her family. You could find her at ballgames with her grandkids, horse shows with her son and other events they participated in. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed feeding her family. She also loved to travel and enjoyed every trip she took.
