MICHAEL GEESLIN
SPRINGFIELD- A joint celebration of life will be held at a later date at the Park Crest Baptist Church in Springfield for Michael David Geeslin, 59, Springfield, who died Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2020. It will be a joint celebration of life to be shared with his father, Bill Geeslin.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hunt Family Foundation of KC, 1 Arrowhead Drive, Kansas City, Mo 64129.
Survivors include a son, Derek and wife Jodi, Columbia, Mo.; a daughter, Alexandra, Springfield with Rhonda Geeslin; nieces, Erica Baier and Sarah Andrist and husband Chad of the Kansas City area; great niece and nephews and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Betty Geeslin and a sister, Debbier Baier Geeslin.
Mr. Geeslin was born June 12, 1961, in Lamar, to William and Betty (Lucietta) Geeslin. He attended Raytown South High School and completed college degrees of B.S. in Pharmacy at UMKC and MBA at Missouri State University in Springfield. He was a pharmacist at Super D Drugs, Lakeland Regional Hospital and CVS drug store before founding IVANRX4U Pharmacy Relief Services. He owned and operated IVANRX4U for 20 years. He was involved with Sigma Tau fraternity, Phi Delta Chi Fraternity and the Missouri Pharmacy Association.
He was a loving father to his two children. He enjoyed spending time with his father and vacations with family. He was an avid enthusiast of roller coasters and theme parks. His greatest joy was tailgates and watching the KC Chiefs win the Super Bowl. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
