HOWARD CROUCH
WASHINGTON, Mo.-Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Daniel Funeral Home in Lamar for Howard D. Crouch, 97, Washington, formerly of Neosho, who died Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015, at Cedar Crest Manor in Washington. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Carthage, with full military honors.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 12 noon until service time.
Contributions may be made to Ozarks Food Harvest Food Bank, in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include two daughters, Ginny Stanford, Sebastopol, Calif. and Helen Brinker and husband Larry, Washington, Mo.; one brother, Lon Crouch, St. Louis; two sisters, Dixie Rambo and Mildred Rehklau and husband George, all of Meridian, Idaho, several nieces and nephews and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Crouch, on Aug. 3, 2008; a brother, Pete Crouch and two sisters, his twin, Helen Williams, and Geyne Ruhl.
Mr. Crouch was born Nov. 30, 1917, at Nashville, Mo., to Meredith and Veda (Sample) Crouch. He attended Jasper High School and was a graduate of Minden High School. After graduation he married Mary Price on May 22, 1942, before going off to serve his country in the US Army Air Corps. Upon returning from the war he and his wife started a family together, raising their two daughters. After several years as a crop farmer, he went to work for North American Aviation and then managed his own John Deere dealership in Ft. Scott, Kan.
