FORSYTH-Services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 1965 Bee Creek Road in Branson for Jim Rader, 76, Forsyth. Ian Arnold will officiate. Burial will be in Goodman at a later date. Cremation services were under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home in Branson.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family of Jim Rader and sent to 268 Cedar Vale Lane, Forsyth, Mo. 65653.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy Rader, of Forsyth; three daughters, Jody Wilson and husband Bobby, Forsyth, Jill Haskins and husband Lexa, Walnut Shade and Jami Asselin and husband Brian, Reeds Spring; two sons, Douglas Rader and wife Beth, San Diego, Calif. and Paul Rader, Forsyth; stepsons, Michael Widger and wife Linda, Tennessee and Rodney Widger and wife Carol, Branson; a sister, Sherry Dietrick and husband Richard, Iowa; a half brother, Carl Rader and wife Donna, Kansas; a half sister, Marta Murphy and husband Steve, Wichita, Kan., 19 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Norma Jean Rader in 1977; a son, Mark Andrew Rader and a brother, David Rader.

Mr. Rader was born Feb. 22, 1939, in Clinton, to Joseph and Elizabeth (Richman) Rader. He married his wife Nancy on Feb. 18, 1978, in Neosho. He had lived in Lamar and Neosho before moving to Branson in 1981.

He was a commercial real estate broker and belonged to the National Board of Realtors. He was one of Jehovah's Witnesses, along with his family, in the North Oak's Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses on Bee Creek Road in Branson. He always kept a watchful eye on the community's needs and knew how important it was to be ready to guide, advise and cheer on progress. He loved gardening and teaching bible truths to others.
