JACK L PALMER

Jack L Palmer, born April 2, 1930 in Wahoo, Nebraska, took the Creators Hand on October 3, ?2015 at age 85.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, October 8, 2015 at the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, MO. Visitation will be held 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at the funeral home. Burial will take place 3 p.m. Thursday, October 8, at the Barton City Cemetery in Liberal, MO.

Jack accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at a very young age. After graduating high school in ?Liberal, Missouri Jack proudly served his country in the United States Airforce. He married Miss Arlene Dayle Smith in January 1952. Jack and Arlene moved to Parkville Mo where Jack was a faithful member of Park Hill Baptist Church. Jack worked for Trans World Airlines for over 32 years, retiring in 1983. His greatest blessings were in his three children, Mike, Cindi, and Pam and later his grandchildren Aaron, Palmer, Wesley, Emily, Jackson and great-granddaughter Eva. In 1990 Jack and ?Arlene moved to Bolivar, Missouri to enjoy his passion of fishing and sharing that love with his ?grandchildren. He was instrumental in the development of the Traveler's Sunday school class at First ?Baptist Church and enjoyed the company of those wonderful and faithful friends. Jack also cherished the ?friendship of his loving neighbors.

Survivors include Arlene Palmer, his three children; Mik~ Palmer (Beverly), Cindi Allain (Clancy), and Pam ?Burrell (Jack). Also his grandchildren; Aaron Palmer, Palmer Allain, Wesley Burrell and his wife Whitney, ?Emily Allain, Jackson Allain, and great granddaughter Eva Allain, as well as many loving nieces and ?nephews, two sister-in laws, and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd C. Palmer, Violet Thompson-Palmer and brothers Frank, DeRoy and Robert Palmer.
