STAN TIMMONS

LAMAR- Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Lamar Family Ministries Center (LFMC) for Charles Stanley Timmons, 63, Lamar, who died Thursday, Oct. 22, 2020, at his home.

A visitation will be held prior to the service, beginning at 10 a.m.

Arrangements are under the direction of Konantz Warden Funeral Home.

Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the Timmons family.

Survivors include four sons, Corey Timmons and wife Kaylee, Jake Timmons and wife Haley, Josh Timmons and wife Mykela and Dusty Timmons, all of Lamar. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, Brevon, Kaylynn, Caden, Maylee, Briley, Grace, Zeke, Jaelyn, Scarlett and Landon; a sister, Jan Luce, Lamar; a brother, Tim (Kay) Timmons and wife Kay, Lamar and many other family member and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Timmons was born November 27, 1956 to Elmer and Frances (Lean) Timmons in Lamar. He was a carpenter by trade and was known to be generous with his time, helping friends with projects and refusing payment. He worked on many weekend projects with his sons, teaching them his skills. He struggled with a lifelong addiction with alcohol and turned to Jesus to keep him on track. He loved trout fishing, horses, playing the guitar and being a grandfather. A hole will be felt in the lives of those he touched.
