LAMAR- Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Konantz Warden Funeral Home for Wilma Jo Puckett, 60, Lamar, who died Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2020. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Thursday, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the funeral home.

Donations, in lieu of flowers, can be made to the Children’s Miracle Network.

Survivors include her sons, Brian Puckett and Brent Puckett and wife Melinda, Lamar and four sisters, Mary Kay White, Lamar, Tracy Kennedy and husband Chuck, Joplin, Pamela Slater and husband Ron, Lamar and Connie Smith and husband Jerry, Rich Hill.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ken Puckett; her parents and a brother, Donnie Rogers Jr.

Mrs. Puckett was born March 20, 1960, in Carthage, to Donald and Hazel (Lowe) Rogers. She married Kenneth Puckett on May 30, 1980. She had worked for O’Sullivan Industries for 13 years and then for Walmart for more than 13 years. Her great accomplishment was raising her boys. She was known for her love of family and was always helping someone out.

Mrs. Puckett was an avid Chief’s fan who did not give up on her team, even when everyone else had. She enjoyed flea markets and thrift stores. She truly enjoyed a bargain and found a reason to bring home a good deal even when it really wasn’t needed. She also enjoyed sewing, carnations and eating chicken at Gebhardt’s on Fridays. She always had a joke for her coworkers and was known to have a heart of gold.
