Health department pointers regarding COVID-19

At this time the Barton County Health Department strongly encourages the act of social distancing, wearing a mask when unable to keep at least six feet from others who do not reside in your home and practicing good hand hygiene and cough/sneeze etiquette.

If anyone tests positive for COVID-19, quarantine at home away from others until results are known and if someone tests positive, please isolate at home away from others. Write down the date that symptoms began, symptoms that are being experienced and names of everyone that has been in close contact beginning 48 hours before symptoms began. Close contact is considered as being within six feet of a person for a total of 15 minutes or longer at one time or over 24 hours.
