LULA SANDERS

VERONA- Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Verona First Baptist Church for Lula Nadene Sanders, 93, Verona, who died Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2020, at the Aurora Nursing Center. Burial will follow at Spring River Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Peterson Funeral Chapel in Aurora.

Survivors include one son, Mike Weathermon and wife Kathy, Aurora; three daughters, Judy Williams and Connie Gibson, both of Verona and Diane Meyer, Omaha, Neb.; 20 grandchildren and several great and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Weathermon; one son, David Weathermon; three brothers, Bob, Nuel and Chuck Mayfield and one sister, Arlene Wimsatt.

Mrs. Sanders was born Nov. 29, 1927, to Herman and Para (Harley) Mayfield. She was a homemaker.
