SHELDON- A memorial service will be held at a later date for Joan Louise Antle, 91, formerly of Sheldon, who died Friday, Dec. 11, 2020, at Medicalodges in Nevada, Mo.

Arrangements are under the direction of Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, Mo.

Survivors include her son, Charlie Cass and wife Mona, Cape Fair; grandchildren, Crissy Martin, Ashlie Weaver, Dakota Hale, Chad Enochs, Gavin Enochs and Miranda Enochs; 17 great-grandchildren; her sister, Ellen May, Nevada, Mo. and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Antle; a brother, Bill Cochran; a sister, Mary Evans and her daughter, Linda Hale.

Mrs. Antle was born June 18, 1929, in Dederick, to Charles L. and Emma E. (Archer) Cochran. She married Lewis Cass and to this marriage her two children were born. She later was married to Edward Lester “Snooks” Antle and he preceded her in death on March 13, 1998.

She attended Bronaugh High School. She devoted her life to being housewife and a stay-at-home mom. She later owned and operated the liquor store in Sheldon for a number of years. She always enjoyed traveling and was a member of the Nevada Eagles Lodge.
