COVID-19 update

As of Thursday, Dec. 17, the Barton County Health Department has reported 713 total positive cases of COVID-19, with 35 current active cases, 670 total recoveries and eight deaths.

The health department is saddened to announce three more deaths since the last report, of Barton County residents due to complications from COVID-19. All three were males and in their 80’s. As always, the health department’s thoughts and prayers go out to their families.

As cases, hospitalizations and deaths continue to increase across the United States, the safest way to celebrate the winter holidays is to celebrate at home with people who live with you.
