LIBERAL- A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Lake Cemetery in Lamar for Sandra Renee Garringer Bean, 57, Liberal, who died Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2020.
The family will receive visitors from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, at Konantz Warden Funeral Home. Viewing is available from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday.
Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made in care of the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.

Survivors include her children, Shauna Hackler and husband Steven, Liberal, Joshua Bean, Sheldon, Carrie Bean and Dallas Hughston, Monticello, Utah and Sarah Davis and husband Nathan, Lamar; a much-loved fuzzy child, Buster; grandchildren, Stasha Hackler, Ashlynn Davis and Michael Davis; her siblings, Rodney Garringer, Lamar, Jennifer Garringer, Kansas City, Mo., Ann Stahl and husband Ralph, Lamar and Cheri Moss and husband Darrell, Lamar; aunts, Betty Foraker, Nixa, Judy Welch, Clearwater, Fla. and Sue Sundlee, Rochester, Minn.; an uncle, Jim Welch, Branson; a brother-in-law, Ron Bean and wife Tracy, Liberal, many grand-dogs and grand-cats and a large extended network of family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; an infant daughter, Stephanie; a brother-in-law, Joe Bean; her father-in-law, Sherrell Bean; her mother-in-law, Patricia Bean; a brother-in-law, Bill Kirby and a nephew, Trevor Kirby.
Mrs. Bean was born March 9, 1963, to Beverly and Junior Garringer. She was a 1981 graduate of Lamar High School. She met the love of her life, Shaun Michael Bean, in a “trust” exercise during drama class at Lamar High School. They were married Dec. 22, 1979 and had five children. Mrs. Bean studied education at Wentworth College in 1985 and Early Childhood at the University of St. Louis. She was a member of the Eastern Star and was active as a blood drive coordinator for the Red Cross in Barton County. She worked for Liberal Schools for 16 years with Parents as Teachers. She was a paramedic in Barton, Vernon and McDonald counties and then worked at Bates County Hospital in Butler for the last 19 years as a paramedic. She was dedicated to her work, but the center of her world and her true devotion was to her children, grandchildren and pets. A big hole is left in their lives with her gone.
