CoxHealth moves closer to COVID-19 vaccines

As CoxHealth moves closer to COVID-19 vaccinations for those in the 1B category, they just wanted to remind the public of where things currently stand.

They have not yet been informed of the type of vaccine, how many doses they will receive or when they will receive it. They anticipate learning this information from the state soon so they can finalize plans and timing of vaccinations for patients.

In the meantime, they ask CoxHealth patients who want to express their interest in receiving a vaccine to complete a survey that's available through their patient portal on CoxHealth.com. Completing this survey does not register participants to receive the vaccine, nor guarantee a spot or prioritization, but it will allow them to know your interest.

CoxHealth’s caregivers are dedicating their time to caring for patients, so please refrain from calling for more information at this time. Be assured they will reach out as soon as more specifics are available in the coming days, as they want everyone to be aware of how and when to sign up for the vaccine when it becomes available to them.
