LAMAR-Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Bedene Funeral Home in Arma, Kan., for William Bill Willey, 57, Lamar, formerly of Pittsburg, Kan., who died at 5:10 p.m. Monday, Oct. 12, 2015, at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin. Burial will be at the Highland Park Cemetery in Pittsburg, Kan.

Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

Survivors include his wife, Mitzi, of the home; a daughter, Christina Cutcliff, St. Louis; a son, Shawn Willey, Overland Park, Kan.; two stepsons, Zach Fowler, Bolivar and Andrew Fowler, Owensville; two brothers, Donnie Willey, Pittsburg, Kan., and John Willey, Arma, Kan. and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Melvin Willey.

Mr. Willey was born May 20, 1958, at Bakersfield, Calif., to Walter Roger and Vera (Coester) Willey. He was a construction worker. He was reared in Pittsburg, Kan., and graduated from Pittsburg High School.

He married Mitzi Fowler on Aug. 31, 2002, in Lamar.
