Brenyn Jungmann began giving blood at blood drives while still in high school, almost 10 years ago, and he is well aware of the importance of giving blood, especially with his blood type of O Positive. Jungmann had chosen to do Power Red through the American Red Cross. Power Red is similar to a whole blood donation, except a special machine is used to allow individuals to safely donate two units of red blood cells during one donation, while returning their plasma and platelets to them. According to Jungmann, the blood drive workers are “extremely personable, know their stuff and always do a great job”.
