BETTY BOLES

LAMAR-The family will gather for a private graveside funeral service at Howell Cemetery for Betty M. Boles, 93, Joplin, formerly of Lamar, who died Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015, at Freeman West Hospital. Mike Gage will officiate. Friends may sign the guest book at Daniel Funeral Home.

Survivors include two sons, Jerry Boles and wife Annette, Tulsa, Okla. and Kenny Boles and wife Linda, Joplin; a sister-in-law, Marjorie Crockett Jones, Pittsburg, Kan.; four grandchildren, Felicia Maher and husband Bill, Napa, Calif., Byron Boles and wife Tracy, Bartlesville, Okla., Leigh Anne Johnson and husband Jeff, Franklin, Ind. and Eric Boles and wife Alison, Shawnee, Kan.; nine grandchildren, Stefan, Anna, Mackenzie, Keaton, Grayson, Griffin, Sydney, Simon and Sarah and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Walter and Everett Crockett and a sister, Inez Quackenbush.

Mrs. Boles was born July 28, 1922, in Irwin, to Barney and Myrtle (Garrett) Crockett. She married Paul Boles on June 16, 1940, at Neosho, and they owned and operated Boles Jewelry in Coffeyville, Kan. for many years. He preceded her in death in 1983.
