MARTHA BRADHSAW

SPRINGFIELD-A memorial service was held at 10 a.m. Monday at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Midtown for Martha Louise Bradshaw, 89, Springfield, who died Thursday, Oct. 22, 2015.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
Survivors include three sons, Steven Bradshaw, Houston, Texas, Richard Bradshaw, Richmond, VA and Philip Bradshaw, Cape Coral, Fla.; eight grandchildren, Alyson, Emily and Matthew, New York, Elizabeth, Lauren and Nolan, Virginia and Benjamin and Daniel, Missouri; one great-grandchild, Lucca, Virginia, a sister, Sara Cromer, San Diego, Calif. and a host of family and friends.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Lawrence, Jr.
Mrs. Bradshaw was born July 14, 1926, in Golden City, to Mae and Lawrence Martin. A lifelong resident of southwest Missouri, she was a graduate of Golden City High School and Draughon's Business College, Springfield.
She married Daniel A. Bradshaw of Cave Springs in Springfield on her birthday in 1946. They first resided in Springfield and later in Willard. In addition to rearing a family, she worked many years for the Missouri Division of Workforce Development as an employment specialist. After her retirement in 1991, she remained active in local politics and volunteer work. She loved spending time with her family and traveling with her friends.
