KATHY BLANCHARD

LAMAR- A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Saint James Cemetery in Milford for Kathy Blanchard, 62, Lamar, who died Tuesday, May 18, 2021.

Arrangements are under the direction of Konantz Warden Funeral Home.

Survivors include her brother, Stan Blanchard and wife Shelia, Sheldon; a niece, Anita Orahood and a nephew, Chris Jones.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Kristy Blanchard.

Ms. Blanchard was born Aug. 27, 1958, in Lamar, to Irvin and Betty (Owen) Blanchard. She was a 1977 graduate of Lamar High School. She worked in the cafeteria of Barton County Memorial Hospital from her senior year until she retired in August of 2020.

She was a quiet person. She enjoyed doing needle point, embroidery and made baby quilts. She also enjoyed paint by numbers, especially Tigers.
