LAMAR- A get together for family and friends of Stephanie J. Clawson, 62, Lamar, who died Sunday, May 30, 2021, will be held July 3, at the home of Melissa Carr. Anyone planning to attend should RSVP to Melissa at melissa_carr@icloud.com for additional details.

Survivors include her daughters, Mellisa Carr, Lamar and Alexis Clawson, Springfield; grandchildren, Chelsey Ballard, Lamar, Tyler Carr and wife Sylvia, Lamar, Preston Seago, Lamar, Samantha Null, Joplin and Danielle Schiltz and husband Noah, Lamar. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, Drake Herring, Lamar, Ethan Hall, Lamar, Izzy Ballard, Lamar and Cameron Chartier, Joplin and grand dog, Sasha.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Analisa Boehm and a brother, John Martin.

Mrs. Clawson was born Aug. 18, 1958, in Liberty, to Hubert and Ruby (Roby) Mitchell. She grew up in Liberty and was a graduate from high school in 1976. She loved family, friends and dogs. She was not afraid of anyting or anyone. She was the queen of storytelling, especially stories of growing up. She also enjoyed reading stories. She always had a book, usually Sci-Fi but also often Mystery and True Crime.
