Fourteen youth and adults from Lamar and the surrounding area participating in a westward re-enactment, held June 24-26, by the Monett Missouri Stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Pioneers faced many challenges, but were supported by their vision of a better life where they could worship their Savior, Jesus Christ freely. It is hoped that the youth ended the trek spiritually strengthened and inspired to do better.
