LAMAR- Graveside services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday in Vaughn Cemetery for Jerry L. Vaughn, 82, Lamar, who died Sunday, Aug. 1, 2021, at Truman Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

Arrangements are under the direction of Greenfield Funeral Chapel.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Vaughn; one son, Mark Vaughn; two daughters, Debra Smith and Becky Boyd; three brothers, Wayne Yount, Doug Yount and Tommy Jones; three sisters, Portia Pierce, Marlene Timmons and Darlene Bartlett; six grandchildren, James Pierce, Michael Pierce, Joey Pierce, Amanda King, Adam Boyd and Emilee Vaughn; 10 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Molly Vaughn and one sister, Sue Powell.

Mr. Vaughn was born Sept. 7, 1938, in Lamar. He was united in marriage to Shirley Pierce on July 2, 1958, in Lamar. He worked for O’Sullivan Industries for many years.
