Bicentennial coloring contest entries being sought

Entries are still being sought from individuals of all ages for the Lamar Democrat 2021 Missouri Bicentennial coloring contest. The coloring contest is free and open to all and pictures can be colored from the form located in the August 4 Lamar Democrat or by stopping at the office at 100 E. 11th St. to pick up a coloring sheet.

To enter the coloring contest, take a picture of your entry and submit it by email to melissa@lamardemocrat.com or bring it by the office. The deadline to enter is Monday, Aug. 9, 3 p.m., with the winners to be announced during the Bicentennial celebration on Tuesday, Aug. 10.

Winners will be announced via Facebook Live, with entries being featured in upcoming Democrats.

Multiple winners will receive prizes from generous area sponsors.
