Sullins sisters recognized for Bicentennial poster contest entries

Lamar Democrat/Melody Metzger Alee and Kitty Sullins were recognized Tuesday evening, Aug. 10, during the 2021 Barton County Bicentennial celebration held on the Lamar square. Lamar Community Betterment President Elaine Davis recognized both girls for entering the 2021 Missouri Bicentennial Poster Contest, that was open to all youth in the state. Pictured with Davis are Alee, left and Kitty, right. Kitty had received recognition as a Top 10 finalist and both girls had their posters featured on the 2021 Missouri Bicentennial website.
