Mr. McClintock was born Aug. 28, 1959, at Carthage, to Emmett E. and Roselea Clymer McClintock. He was brought home to the family farm east of Jasper, where he lived until his health no longer made it possible.

He attended Jasper R-5 Schools and was a 1977 graduate. In high school he was a member of FFA and the football team. His favorite hobbies were always hunting and fishing.

He farmed with his dad until 1988. Following this he worked outside the farm, with the last several years at the Leggett & Platt wire mill. He served on the Paradise Cemetery Board, worked with his dad on the Jasper County Road District, was a member of the Jasper Methodist Church and was a proud Shriner that helped children. He earned crutches for each referral. He enjoyed growing his own vegetables and raising his chickens. Don’t forget he loved hunting and fishing! He enjoyed good stories and was a big tease. He was always a Chiefs fan, knowing every player and watching every game.
