JODY WAYNE MILES

LOCKWOOD- Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, at Greenfield Cemetery in Jerico Springs, for Jody Wayne Miles, 65, Lockwood, who died Saturday, Aug. 21, 2021.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, at Daniel Funeral Home in Lamar.

Contributions are suggested and made payable to the Chance Kentner Memorial, in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include his mother, June Miles; two sisters, Judy Miles Easson and husband Andrew and Joy Miles; his fiance, Tracey Somner; nephews, Josh Weimer and wife Annie, Jarid Weimer and wife Jen, Brandon Easson, Jordan Easson and wife Elena and Jacob Easson and wife Kari and great nieces and nephews, Morgan, Rylie, Sydnie, Dylan, Chloe Henry, Blair and Zoe.

He was preceded in death by his father and a nephew, Chance H. Kentner.

Mr. Miles was born March 2, 1956, in Lamar, to Louie Joyce and Wanda June (Higgins) Miles. He was a 1974 graduate of Lockwood High School.

He worked as a scale house operator for Pennington Seed for 31 years. He will be missed by many close friends and coworkers.
