Members of First Baptist Children’s Church perform at fair gospel sing

Lamar Democrat/Melody Metzger Members of the Lamar First Baptist Children’s Church led the Pledge of Allegiance to open up the 78th Lamar Free Fair Annual Gospel Sing, held Wednesday evening, Aug. 25, at Thiebaud Auditorium. Pictured are, left to right, Tinley Fowler, Deacon Chaney, Ridley Means, Marti Regier and Roman Gordon. The children were then joined by Darien Regier as they performed a group participation rendering of “Do Lord” to open up the program. The children were under the direction of Julie Means. Be sure to watch for the Gospel Sing section in the Lamar Democrat Fair Memory Book that will be published in October.
