LOCKWOOD- Services will be held at a later date for Roger Waterson Cook, 78, Lockwood, who died Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021, at Good Shepherd Community Care in Lockwood.

Arrangements are under the direction of Daniel Funeral Home, Lamar.

Survivors include one daughter, Regina Cook; two sisters, Branda Duncan and husband Willie and Murriel Defratius, both of Stockton; seven nieces and nephews, Mona and Charlie, Sonnie and Tiger, Kenny and Tina, Kim, Erric and Nicko, Kerrie and David and Mitch and Hether, along with several great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son, Aaron Schorzman and a brother-in-law, Billy Defratius.

Mr. Cook was born Sept. 10, 1943, in Dennison, Texas, to James Watson and Dellia Gertrude (Prator) Cook. He served in the United States Army and the United States Navy.

He worked as a ranch hand.
