Lamar Democrat/Melody Metzger During coronation ceremonies held prior to the Golden City vs. Everton volleyball game on Thursday, Oct. 7, seniors Cheyenne Ruth and Stephen Gonzalez were crowned homecoming royalty. The theme for the evening was “Welcome to the Jungle”, with both the varsity and JV volleyball teams coming out victorious over the Everton Lady Tigers.
