COVID update

Barton County Health Department Administrator Joel Dermott stated, “Barton County had a good week with nine new cases reported in the past seven days, with four of those cases coming out of a congregate setting.”

He added that Barton County’s positivity rate and case rate are both on par with the rest of the southwest Missouri communities.

To date there have been a total of 1518 cases in Barton County, with seven active, 27 deaths and 1484 recorded. As stated above, there have been a total of nine new cases reported in the past seven days.
