ROSE MARIE OTTER

NEVADA, MO.- A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, at Konantz Warden Funeral Home in Lamar for Rose Marie Otter, 61, Nevada, Mo., who died Saturday, Oct. 23, 2021.

The family will receive visitors from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 26, at Konantz Warden Funeral Home.

Survivors include a son, David Beebe and wife Jayna, Sheldon; a daughter, Deanna Anderson and husband Scott, Nevada, Mo.; grandchildren, Shyla, David and Mayson Beebe and Zakori and Jayden Anthony and her siblings, Dolores Otter, Ft. Scott, Kan., Anne Horst, Amsterdam, Mo., Mark Otter, Warrensburg and Quentin Otter, Nevada, Mo.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Jerry Otter, Leon Otter, James Otter and an infant brother, Richard Otter and a nephew, Christopher Otter.

Mrs. Otter was born Sept. 20, 1960, in Colby, Kan., to Arthur and Cecelia (Moos) Otter. She was a 1969 graduate of Nevada High School and achieved a degree in Criminal Justice from MSSU in 2000.

She loved spending time with her grandchildren who loved her very much. They made many memories together baking cookies, doing crafts, playing card games and hitting up yard sales on Saturday mornings. She enjoyed crocheting and made many baby blankets for friends and family. She also enjoyed reading mystery and crime novels, swimming, walking and collecting Precious Moments items.
