JANICE K. FRIEDEN

LAMAR- Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Apostolic Christian Faith Church for Janice K. Frieden, 78, Lamar, who died Saturday, Oct. 23, 2021. Visitation will be held prior to the service, beginning at 10 a.m.
Arrangements are under the direction of Konantz Warden Funeral Home. The funeral home will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27, for visitors who would like to sign the book and pay their final respects.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations may be made to the Apostolic Christian Faith Church.

Survivors include her brothers, Gary Frieden and wife Norma, Lon Frieden and wife Virginia and Tim Frieden and wife Brenda, all of Lamar, along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Mrs. Frieden was born Dec. 15, 1942, to Leslie and Edna (Fankhauser) Frieden. She was a 1960 graduate of Lamar High School. Upon graduation she attended Missouri State University for two years. She then traveled to Phoenix, Ariz., where she worked in banking and then moved to Pasadena, Calif., where she worked at Jet Propulsion Lab. She moved back to Missouri where she worked in childcare, volunteered as a Pink Lady at Barton County Memorial Hospital and worked at the Super 8 in Lamar.
In the late 1960s, she joined the Apostolic Christian Church and was very active within the church, especially with the young people. She often sponsored and traveled with them as they went to other churches in the area and in neighboring states.
