Missouri public admiistrators speak at NGA Convention in Reno

In 2019, the Missouri Association of Public Administrators (MAPA) commissioned a study of its public guardianship system. Consultants conducted interviews of public guardians and key stakeholders, creating a comprehensive report on the current status of Missouri’s public guardianship system, including opportunities for improvements. A select group of Missouri public administrators attended the National Guardianship Association (NGA) convention in Reno, Nevada, to speak before 350 guardians from all 50 states and share the improvements and changes that Missouri has instituted. Public administrators from Missouri that attended the NGA convention were, from left: Karen Digh-Allen, Callaway County; Carol Johnson, Dallas County; John Killian, Jackson County; Angie Casavecchia, Jasper County; Danielle Boggs, Webster County; Julie Hagen, Barton County; Kelsey Westerhold, Vernon County and current MAPA president Amanda Huffman, Morgan County.
