AUSTIN, Ark.-Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church of Lamar, Mo., for Kevin Stump, 45, Austin, who died of cancer on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2015, at his childhood home in rural Lockwood, Mo., surrounded by his family. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Daniel Funeral Home, Lamar, Mo.

Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to a scholarship fund set up for his children, in care of Connie Stump.

Survivors include the mother of his children, Donette Spann; a son, Justin and daughter, Katelyn; parents, Eugene and Connie Stump; sister, Tammie Engle and Jonie; brother, Darren Stump and wife Melinda; several nieces and nephews including Jason Engle, Cassie Gomez, Cody Wright, Jackson Engle, Hunter, Landon, Mackenzie and Avery Stump and great-nieces and great-nephews, Addie, Bentley and Lanie Engle, Connor and Carter Gomez.

He was preceded in death by his twin sister, Kathy; his paternal grandparents, Lee and Faye Stump and his maternal grandmother, Marie Trent.

Mr. Stump and his twin sister, Kathy, were born Nov. 10, 1970, at Fort Scott, Kan., to Eugene and Connie (Trent) Stump. After graduating from Lockwood (Mo.) High School in 1989, he went on to graduate from SMSU, earning an agronomy degree in 1994. He worked at Tindle Farm Supply/ADM for 13 years. He then worked for Oakley Fertilizer for eight years in Beebe, where he became an avid Razorbacks fan. He then achieved his dream job, working for a family owned company, Delta Grow Seed, Inc., located in England, Ark. He loved the people he worked with and they became his second family, standing by him throughout his fight with cancer.
