The Lamar Tiger football team’s charter buses departed Lamar High School at 8:30 a.m. Friday morning, Dec. 3, as they were heading to the University of Missouri-Columbia to take on Lutheran St. Charles in the Class 2 State Championship to be played at 3 p.m. The buses, along with a contingent of fans, traveled by West Elementary, the middle school and then headed down Gulf Street, taking a lap around the Lamar square before heading to Columbia.
